A media art project involving children speaking a quotation by Albert Einstein on the nature of human community in many of the over 85 languages spoken throughout Los Angeles. Designed for broadcast and public art installation.
"So I'm driving in my car and I've got the radio on and I hear there are over 85 languages spoken by children in the Los Angeles School system."
That was the inspiration for this video project. The reporting conveyed the multiple languages as a problem, while for me it seemed like an incredible resource, and further confirmation that Los Angeles was the new center of the universe. - Gary Glassman
